Borgo le Vigne,
Montecarlo (Lucca)
Sleeps Four + one.
Two Bedrooms, Two Bathrooms, Two Storeys. Former winery. Panoramic hilltop views. Shared Pool and grounds. Private garden. Stunning views .....Inviting

Casa Fiore has the prime position in the borgo. It has a wide view to the snow capped Apuan Alps with olives on the rising hillsides leading into the distance. The garden takes in this view and that of the swimming pool. The hill has sweet breezes that waft through the shutters, cooling the house in the bright Italian sunshine. The borgo is a former winery that was built on a hill amongst vineyards and in sight of the little medieval castle town of Montecarlo. There are interesting places to visit nearby and within a comfortable day tour and many delightful restaurants for the evening in and around the town.

Borgo di Bucciano, San Miniato,
Near Florence/Pisa/Lucca
Sleeps Four.
Two Bedrooms, Two Bathrooms, One storey. Beamed ceilings. Private Terrace and Garden both with stunning views. Shared Piazza and Pool. Beautiful grounds .....Romantic

Bucciano is a tiny 17th Century hill village; a gem of vernacular Tuscan style. Casa Lucia has a garden with a shade tree and two panoramic views across hills and vineyards. The casa has authentic chestnut beams and cotto floors but with modern kitchen and shower rooms. The borgo is fascinating restful retreat and is a visit in itself. The locality is the centre of the prized white truffle and the characteristic restaurants around add it to many dishes. The road leads easily through the vineyards to the medieval towns of San Miniato and San Gimignano and well as Florence and Pisa.
